parting thoughts…
Well it is after midnight Tuesday morning. Scott and I are setting on the cabana one last time. The van will be here to get us in four and a half hours and we think we have nothing better to do than a post on the blog. With that said we would like for you to know what we are taking away from this week. Has it changed us and if so how.
Also don’t forget about the great opportunity to help pastors here in the Dominican with books for their study. Just follow this link and impact ministry.
Some people however serious the sitution can always find humor. You know the kind of people that tend to want to laugh at almost anything. Well here is our groups problem child. It’s her laugh that really keeps me going! Thanks for putting up with me for all these years. You would have to have a sense of humor.
After you listen to everyone share their story you can play them all at the same time for fun. That is what it sounded like many times during our week in the DR.

Your comments have truly touched me. I have thought about each of you this past week while you were down there. I have prayed for you guys. Each and every one of you are so special to me. Being a new member at MCC, I see what our church is truly about when I see the work you guys are doing there. I hope that one day I will be able to join you there. You have touched so many lives down there and done so much for those people…and it really makes me smile and happy to know that God is using you this way…that God is present in our church, in our community. God Bless each of you. I am so proud of all of you.

Oh me…that is so great to know! I would really like to go next year, or at least help you guys raise the money! I am actually getting married in March…so will see what happens. I know if I can I will be there!
